My grandparents at a picnic

Somewhere in B.C., circa. 1920s/1930s

As I colourized the smiling faces of my grandparents in this old photo, taken at a picnic in an unidentified region, sometime during the late 1920s/early 1930s, I noticed that the landscape looks very similar to Beacon Hill Park - a popular park located in Victoria, B.C near the waterfront of Dallas Road.

Dressed to impress

Wouldn’t you agree? My grandfather - an aviator - is quite dashing in his bomber jacket, flared shorts and argyle socks!
